J & G ELECTRIC
Founded in July of 1990, J & G Electric was at first a part time venture of Jim & Gale Richardson. Jim had been working on erection crews with several of the the major tank building contractors since 1978. Jim had worked as a welder, fitter and assistant foreman. In 1987 Jim decided to take correspondence training to learn how to do electrical work. While living in a small camper on the water tower construction sites, Jim worked at night on his electrician's correspondence course. Finally in July of 1990 Jim received his diploma from NRI Schools and started doing electrical on homes and businesses part time while home from water tower building jobs. Finally in 1992 Jim made the break and quit building water towers to go into doing solely the electrical and controls work involved in water tower construction.
